Top Trends for Autumn/Winter 2009

The main trends this season are influenced by the decade that style forgot the 1980’s! Details to watch out for in womenswear are:

Leather - trousers and dresses.

Daytime sparkle - gold, bronze or silver in tops, jackets & leggings.

Shoulder pads & big shoulder details, look for boyfriend jackets.

Leggings & jeggings (leggings with jeans details & colours).

Capes/cloaks and chunky knits.

Accessories - over the knee boots, studs and gold chunky jewellery.

For menswear think military details, some double breasted jackets and tone on tone shirt & tie combinations.

Colours to watch out for are  grey, navy, plums, mustard, cool & warm pinks plus warm nude tones.
