Luckily the new Autumn/Winter fashions for 2011/2012 are now flooding into the shops  just as the weather has decided to turn cold and windy!! I love this time of year as the seasons change and the kids go back to school everything feels clean and fresh as we’re all raring to go after hopefully being re-charged over the holidays!

Early indications for this season’s fashion trends are:

• 1940s styling - peplums, knee length pencil skirts, figure skimming dresses.

• Heritage - a mish-mash of floral prints, stripes and checks.

• Androgyny - cropped tailored trousers, brogues and blazers.

• Colours - Burgundy, bottle green, mustard and orange red.

• Be aware of the mid calf length skirt and the sun ray pleat skirt - not the most flattering styles for the majority of women!
